SAP Labs CIS: Kyiv, Digital Transformation of FMCG and Agribusiness

On September 15, SAP key event for manufacturers of consumer goods and Agribusiness was held in Kyiv. We had 90 participants among those 70 representatives of Consumer Products, Pharma, Agricultural industries, as well as public sector and financial investors.

The main topic of discussion was the role of digital transformation, IoT and modern information technologies for sustainable business development.

Based on the best practices of leading companies participants were informed how information technology can be used to improve the efficiency and profitability of enterprises.

The agenda consisted of three main sessions: 

– Digital Reality;

– Comprehensive  automation of business processes in FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, and Agribusiness;

– Automation of manufacturing. Sales and operations planning. Distribution. Logistics.

The representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Farmak (Pharmaceutics), Chumak (FMCG), BDO Ukraine as well as Natalia Ivanova (COO of SAP Labs CIS) and SAP CIS presales and consulting experts,  Alexey Nechiporenko, Semen Gayduk, Olga Petrusenko, Alexander Prorokov, were among the speakers and moderators.

The topic of digital transformation was also reflected in demo cases presented by the SAP experts:

– Digital Farming:

new opportunities to improve productivity and control of processes of an agricultural enterprise, control of grazing and quality conditions of the fields by means of drones;

– Digital Warehouse Inventory:

a solution for modern warehouse management processes using augmented reality glasses;

– Digital Boardroom:

a solution for real time analysis, planning, simulation, forecasting, and visualization of data.
