SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) - Masking Fields in Table

What is SLT?

SLT stands for SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server (SLT) running on the NetWeaver Platform. SLT is the ideal solution for all HANA customers who need real-time (and non-real-time) data replication sourcing from SAP ERP or non-SAP systems into HANA.

Requirement

PA2001 table need to be replicated in HANA box with limited data. You need mask 2 column of the table( eg. UMSCH & UMSKD) PA2001 and replicate in HANA box.

Step 1

Run /LTRS t-Code to open SLT configuration.

Step 2

Select the schema where the table actually exist in the system

Step 3

Expand Rule assignment and right click on the “Rule Assignment”

You will get an option of “Add Table”

Select Add table (as mention bellow screen)

Step 5

Provide the table name for which you like to mask the data.

Click on OK Button

Step 6

Selected / Given Table will aspire at the below of “Rule Assignment”

Please confirm the same

Step 7

Select the Table rule button

Select “Field related Rule” option

Step 8

You will get a new Rule window.

Step 9

Select on the “Field related Rule” – A new window will open down side

Give the Parameter name for which the Masking is required

Step 10

Select on Field related rule

Give the Name of the field for which Masking is required

Enter Actual coding in “Line of code” field.

Coding space is limited by 100 character and ABAP Code / language

Put “E_” at front of any field (eg. EMSCH  E_EMSCH)

Step 11

Do the same activity for the second field as well

Step 12

Go to LTRC T-Code to replicate the Field

Step 13

Click on the Data Provisioning Button

You will get Multiple option

Step 14

Open  Data Provisioning window

Select on start replication radio button

Provide the Table name & Execute

Step 15

Search for the Table in Replication window

Check – whether it is schedule (as shown in the screen)

Step 16

Open the Table from HANA Modeller perspective and check whether those field in the table is masked or not.
