SAP Labs CIS: SAP Integration and Certification Center celebrates 20 years of service at SAP Labs CIS

With SAP ICC certification, software vendors can show customers that their solutions are built to run on SAP solutions. Software vendors value certification from SAP ICC for being a stamp of approval that gives customers confidence in their solutions and also for providing marketing benefits helping to reach out for more SAP customers.

Over 20 years SAP ICC has performed more than 9,000 certifications for more than 3,000 third-party software vendors worldwide across the entire SAP solution portfolio. SAP ICC timeline with the facts and figures since 1996 to 2016 show different milestones by SAP ICC throughout its 20 years of dedicated service to the SAP partner ecosystem. Among those, there is the opening of certification center in Moscow one year ago at SAP Labs CIS. Though certification in Russia and the other CIS countries is gaining its full momentum, there are already several notable certification partners such as ASU-Project (Russia), EPAM and IBA (both Belarus), InTarget Solutions (Kazakhstan), SKB Kontur (Russia), and others. ASU-Project’s solution OIS iField was moved to SAP HANA platform as a part of SAP Co-Innovation Lab (COIL) project and has successfully passed SAP ICC certification in the end of 2015. OIS iField is well on its way now to become a SolEx product in SAP Price List. The solutions by EPAM and IBA both started as country localization projects (FI/LO and HCM, respectively) supported by Globalization Services (GS) and COIL. SAP ICC certified deployment of the products built under these projects. Currently both products are included into global SAP Price List. InTarget Solutions has developed the first certified partner localization for SAP HCM country version with support of GS team in the landscape managed by COIL. SKB Kontur’s connector is another example of a product built by an ISV in cooperation with GS, COIL, and ICC. All these projects are good examples of how SAP ICC is serving vendors in CIS as well as cooperating with other SAP teams. 

This week Moscow office of SAP ICC invited the partner related teams and internal stakeholders including SAP Labs Management, Channel Management, COIL, ISV/OEM, GS to celebrate the 20^th anniversary of SAP ICC dedicated service to SAP ecosystem. It was a very informal and friendly gathering that started with cake cutting with COO SAP Labs and the leaders of other teams which was followed by networking where everyone was excited to learn more about other teams’ business, find out how they can be helpful to each other and discover opportunities that can create synergy between the teams and individuals. All the colleagues agreed that it was a good way to improve internal awareness and stay in contact with members of other teams.
