A leading semiconductor company in Asia with a considerable revenue turnover, embarked on SAP S/4HANA journey to reconstruct its core business processes and increase its overall productivity. The company aimed for a strong innovation agenda in order to deliver better customer service.


The new implementation of SAP S/4HANA for this customer covered these areas:

Significant added business value


This case also had several additional applications, which needed to be connected to the SAP S/4HANA System. There was a custom specific database, a PLM system from another company and a dashboard especially for management reporting, among others. With this we have a good example for the integration possibilities you are able to realize with SAP S/4HANA.


In joint collaboration SAP and its customer worked closely together in order to make sure, the project would run smoothly and assure a great go live. With the help of the SAP Customer Care, Regional Implementation group and implementation partner a trusted relationship could be built right from the start. There are currently more than 1200 active SAP S/4HANA customer projects that are collaborating with SAP Customer Care and/or the Regional Implementation group. More than 270 customers already went live to date with the support of SAP.


In the case of the semiconductor company from Asia, two onsite visits and several knowledge transfer sessions, it was possible to gather all necessary information within a short period of time. This gave the project a good head start in realizing a fast go live. Both sides worked closely together throughout the project and made the transition to SAP S/4HANA therefore very smooth and easy.


The SAP S/4HANA journey thus helped the company to run simple, take faster business decision and achieve a higher customer satisfaction.
