We are glad to announce that our Ukrainian Localization Product Manager Elena Lopushenko has been included into Ukrainian national list of «Top-20 Inspiring Women in STEM» (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
What is the «Top-20 Inspiring Women in STEM» list?
It is a unique community of women in Ukraine, who made a successful career in science and technology. Among them are top managers of IT and technology companies, scientists, representatives of ministries, universities, and public organizations.
SAP Labs CIS in Ukraine participated in STEM 4 Girls for 15-16-year-old pupils, who choose their future profession. The participants had a chance to hear inspiring life stories of the woman, who has experience of working in a STEM career, ask questions about challenges, get a piece of advice, and just communicate about day-to-day working life. Elena Lopushenko from the Globalization Services shared with girls five reasons to choose IT career, participated in the panel discussion and Q&A session to answer important STEM carrier questions, inspire, to give professional advice and life hacks.

Elena has been working for SAP since 2003. She is leading Globalization Product Management team in the Ukraine and is responsible for localization of SAP products in accordance with Ukrainian legislation and market needs. This allows both private and public companies in Ukraine to implement them faster and more efficient, to improve transparency, productivity, and manageability, to build a platform for innovation and digital transformation. SAP Labs has many talented women working in our Ukrainian office as well as many women working with SAP partners.
