Do you use an Android device to learn with openSAP?
For those of you using Android devices to learn with openSAP, we are inviting you to share your feedback on the latest update to the app. When using the mobile app, you now have the chance to use it in second screen mode, so while you are watching our experts on your laptop, you can now do simultaneous activities such as reading the slides, taking notes next to the video, or taking a self-assessment!
So, how does it work?
If you are logged in to openSAP on your laptop and you open the openSAP Android app on your mobile device, the app will identify that you are currently watching an openSAP video. The app will open content related to that video in second screen mode. There are four actions available with this feature:
- Slide Reader: Browse the unit slides, synchronized with the video
- Interactive Transcript: Follow the speaker with synchronized subtitles
- Self-assessment: Test your knowledge from the unit
- Questions and Discussion: Browse the discussions related to your current unit
We’d like to know what you think of this new feature. If you’re an Android user and you’d like to provide your feedback, please complete this short survey – we’d love to hear from you!
Hello
Will a W10 app be created ?
Best regards
Emmanuel
Hi Emmanuel,
I don't have any details about a W10 app but if something happens, we'll definitely share it with you.
Kind regards,
Claire
I was unable to login with sap.com email plus domain password. No SSO option like web edition in the browser.
Hi Chris,
Your openSAP password is not necessarily your SAP domain password. When you set up your openSAP account, you were free to choose any password. Did you try forgot password to reset it?
Kind regards,
Claire
Hi Claire,
Thanks for you quick response! After resetting the password, it works on my phone now.
As I have been using SSO, i even don't know this. Thank you again!
Thanks and Regards
Chris Xu
Hi Chris,
Glad to hear it works 🙂
Enjoy using the app on your phone!
Kind regards,
Claire
