SAP has developed their analytics product Lumira in order to help “every user to tell amazing visual data stories”. SAP Lumira is not just for experts. It’s a data discovery tool designed for everyone. There is a predefined analytics process defined by SAP Lumira, which allows even novices to acquire, enrich visualize and share data:
In the standard product, this sharing feature supports:
- Sending a URL to the web-based version of the Lumira visualization
- Creating a PDF document from the Lumira visualization
A lot of Lumira customers have recently approached us with the following needs:
- Show custom components in the PDF document
- Create a PowerPoint presentation with just one click
- Create a Word briefing book with just one click
This is why we enhanced our export platform, which is already the benchmark for exporting from SAP Design Studio to PDF, PowerPoint, Word and Excel (see www.designstudio-export.com), to support also Lumira!
The following video shows an example of how easy it is to export from Lumira to Word. Of course, you can use the same export function to create a fully layouted PDF document, which shows also any custom component that you use in Lumira:
