SAP Translation Hub 1.0 will soon be available in the Early Adopter Care Program. Feel free to register under https://influence.sap.com/saptranslationhub10!

Do you want to be among the first to try out SAP Translation Hub 1.0, the new business service on the SAP HANA Cloud Platform? Test out the file upload function for json, java properties and ABAP xliff files, and check out the Quality Index on our User Interface, which gives you the estimated translation quality for translated units.

Upload your texts for translation and put our SAP Machine Translation (MT) results to the test for the top 7 languages (German, Spanish, French, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese): how do they compare to the results for the Multilingual Text Repository (MLTR), the wealth of translated assets that SAP accumulated in their product translations over the past 20 years and that is available in 44 languages? How do both of them – reaching 100 % coverage for your translated texts – work for your ABAP and/or non-ABAP scenarios? And how easy do you find the post-editing and review process in the SAP Translation Hub cloud editor?

While “Hub” means completely different things in German and English, SAP Translation Hub can be seen as both a hub = centre for SAP translations and a hub = platform, providing a business service on the HANA Cloud Platform. It’s not a seal weld-lip (= technical hub) nor a shaft to collar connection (= mechanical hub) – and it’s exactly these slight differences that we are aiming to ensure in SAP Translation Hub by using the right SAP terminology and our secret set of algorithms. SAP Translation Hub is definitely a hub = turnstile for enabling your software to be localized into new languages to accelerate your successful take-off into global markets.
