When you select a component in as-built tabular config and click the button "Add", an error "Select a BOM component (Message 13650)" occurs.
This is caused by a system bug. Note 2352042 resolves this issue.
Before the fix is applied, as a temporary workaround, you can proceed as below:
If you are using Chrome 48.0, you can install previous release version of Chrome eg. 44.
If you are using IE11, open F12 developer tool. In tab "Emulation", choose document mode "9" or "10".
