      That's great news!.

Out of interest, what is the SP is SR1 release? SP3? I'm trying to convince my organisation to recommend 7.2 over a fresh install of 7.1. There's a 10 week window to install before a freeze, and "the lesser risk" is thought to go with 7.1

      Hi Phil,

7.1 is out of mainstream support EO 2017. That should be all the convincing you need to do, surely? čść

Other than that, 7.2 offers a multitude of features that 7.1 doesn't have.

The risk factor may be less now, but by next year they will need to plan to upgrade to 7.2, which is riskier than installing a new 7.2 system (in my opinion of course).

Hi Andrew - those are great points and I made them myself. But then it came down to quantifying risk, which is not an exact science. If it is not installed (with all monitoring set up) in the next 10 weeks, then that risk has to balance against a costed upgrade option later next year.

Before I got into the ring, I wanted all my ducks in a row (I love mixing metaphors). Another duck is: is SP3 or SP4 available now, I couldn't tell (easily)?

      SP3 is available now.

(We have has SAP Notes created for SP5 mind you), so SP4 will likely be December time.

We're encountering problems installing SolMan 7.2... The problem occurs with SWPM 17 SP4 and SP5, unfortunately there is no prior version available for download.

The Problems point to Oracle problems, the error message is either

      oracom.isMT is not a function

      Could not find dialog diNtDbServerCommonUserJ2

      depending on SWPM version.

There are other users with these problems, see
