SAP HANA Cloud Platform allows developers to quickly extend, build and run cloud business applications. With comprehensive services and capabilities, the world’s best developers depend on SAP HANA Cloud Platform to build better apps in less time. To upskill developers to build apps on SAP HANA Cloud Platform, SAP provides free training through openSAP. Earlier this year, SAP HANA Cloud Platform Essentials provided developers with the concepts and technologies along with step by step instructions to set up their own SAP HANA Cloud Platform accounts. It’s now time to move on with the latest course, Developing Java-Based Apps on SAP HANA Cloud Platform.

With this new course, you will learn to develop the OData services and Java Persistence API (JPA) model with the database connection in the back end of an Enterprise Sales & Procurement Model app. The ESPM app will be used throughout this course to demonstrate the end-to-end process for developers. Developing Java-Based Apps on SAP HANA Cloud Platform will take a look at security and identity management, as well as collaboration (e. g., SAP JAM), document service, and API management. The course will also feature how to develop the SAPUI5 web app front end and includes information on SAP Splash and Build.

Developing Java-Based Apps on SAP HANA Cloud Platform starts from September 7 and enrollment is now open. If you haven’t already completed SAP HANA Cloud Platform Essentials, we recommend that you enroll and complete week 1 to get an introduction to SAP HANA Cloud Platform, sign up for your free developer account, and install the necessary development tools.

We look forward to seeing you on the course soon!
