TechEd Las Vegas Preconference 2016: Join us for a unique opportunity to learn more about SAP Data Management

If you are a data management professional planning to attend TechEd Las Vegas in September, don’t miss our complimentary preconference event on September 19th.

Join us for a full-day, complimentary, SAP Data Management workshop on Monday, September 19th at TechEd Las Vegas.

The full-day event will kick off with a technical overview of SAP ASE 16 SPO2 and follow with a technical overview of SAP Replication Server. You will also have the chance to learn more about SAP IQ and its technical features. Following, we’ll show you how you can upgrade your older ASE versions to SAP ASE 16 SPO2 to take advantage of all its new capabilities. During this session you will gain an understanding of the requirements for upgrading to ASE 16 SP02 with specific focus on the threaded kernel and optimizer controls.

We’ll provide lunch and then start up again with a detailed session on how to secure ASE and IQ for compliance. Topic areas include login authentication, network security, data security, user permissions, privileged users, and auditing. In addition to best practices, the tradeoffs and performance impacts of the various security features will be discussed.

We’ll conclude the day with an  “Ask the Experts” panel discussion.

Mark your calendar for this unique full-day session and reserve your spot now!

Did not find any reference to it on the event's official calendar.

This is quite late announcement - some folks already booked their flights and will probably miss this event...  There is quite a large number of ASE professionals that are not present on SCN - how will they ever know this pre-conference exists?
