BEx Analyzer and Analysis for Office are tools created to visualization of query results. The purpose of these tools are the same, but also share some restrictions and limitations.

One of these limitations is a intermittent issues with unpredictable pattern, when BEx Analyzer is running at same time with third party Add-In on MS Excel.

Same is valid for Analysis for Office.

SAP already documented issues while using Essbase Hyperion, but it could happens with any Add-in installed.

The issue lies when a event is processed by two different add-ins, and this generate a conflict.

If you notice any unexpected behavior (general a pop-up with message error) deactivate all Add-Ins and test again.

For that, close all Excel instances. Start Ms Excel normally.

Click on File - Options - Add-Ins

Access Excel Add-Ins and COM Add-Ins and deactivate all of them, as the picture 1.

Exit from Excel and start BEx Analyzer again. It should works as expected.
