With Solution Manager 7.2, how you access the Workcenters has changed to the use of the Fiori Launchpad.
This has a different look and feel from what you are used to doing.
The launch pad can be accessed either through the ABAP GUI front end or directly via a URL link.
Below are shown all the various Workcenters (Groups) and the default options (Tiles) within each (as of SM 7.2 SP2)
In the Launchpad the options within each Workcenter (or Group) can be changed by either adding or removing the various options (Tiles).
To modify the Launchpad display options click on the ‘edit’ button in the lower right.
In edit mode you can either ‘Add Group’ or add a ‘Tile’ to an existing group.
To add a ‘tile’ to a group, click on the blank tile box. This will then show you all of the tile options that you can add. (Be aware that you are able to add any tile to any existing group. You are not limited to only the tile options for the group you are trying to update.)
Unused tiles for the group you are updating can be identified by the ‘+’. Those with a ‘check’ indicates that the tile is already displayed on the launch pad.
Clicking on the ‘+’ will display a screen for ‘Add Tile to Groups’.
Scroll down that screen until you read the group you want to add the tile to.
Check the group you want then click ‘ok’
The ‘+’ will change to a check to indicate that it has been added.
When you have completed your changes, there is a ‘back’ arrow at the top of the screen. Click it to return to the main edit screen
From the ‘edit’ screen, click on the ‘Edit’ button in the bottom right to exit ‘Edit’ mode.
You have now successfully added a tile to the group.
There is even a ‘Home’ group that you can define to fit you individual requirements.
You can add any of the tiles that you use frequently to speed up your navigation through the launchpad as shown below.
I hope this will help you to make a easy transition in Solution Manager 7.2 to the new Fiori Launch Pad.
