There’s no doubt that companies are rethinking how to identify, develop and retain talent in order to improve business outcomes.

A recent study found that 71% of companies believe their performance management is ineffective.  It’s no surprise that more and more organizations tell us that their approach to performance management no longer aligns with the needs of their employees and business.

At the same time, faced with today’s skills shortage and shrinking budgets, companies are particularly challenged to attract and retain the highly-skilled workforce they need to achieve their business goals.  In fact, recent research found that 66% of organizations have problems attracting skilled talent and 41% of organizations have problems retaining these employees.

To compete and win in today’s increasingly competitive and rapidly changing market, improving productivity, cultivating talent continuity and increasing employee engagement in ways that drive real business results are imperative.

As a result, companies are focused now more than ever on how to motivate employees to perform at their best, align their performance management and compensation programs with business objectives, and enable effective succession planning at all levels of the organization to support future growth.

I am pleased to share that at SuccessConnect 2016, SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals, SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development, will take center stage as customers, partners, and industry thought leaders come together to share forward-looking ideas, innovative best practices, and expert suggestions on winning through talent management.
