Introduction of New Cloud Print Manager in SAP Business ByDesign

SAP Business ByDesign allows you to automatically print documents to predefined printers available on your network using SAP Print Manager.

Effective November 2016 release, the existing functionality will be deprecated and removed from the Download Center. This means that SAP will not offer further enhancements & support for this functionality. SAP Print Manager will be replaced by SAP Cloud Print Manager.

You can now download SAP Cloud Print Manager for automatically printing your documents from the Download Center view in Application & User Management work center.

In addition to existing features like support for multiple printers, SAP Cloud Print Manager is enhanced with following features:

1. Allowing login with your Business User.

2. Storing documents anywhere in file directory etc.

3. Cleaning up file directory.

4. Resetting all Print queues to factory default.

Please note that multiple printer support in SAP Cloud Print Manager will be restricted to three printers.

      Hi Kapil,

      Thanks for your information.

I just installed New Cloud Print Manager.

When I login with a business user, I can see all print queues without any assigned user. (Print Queues with Queue Usage : Printing by document user).

When I login with a print user, no queue shows up even though that print user is actually assigned to a print queue.

      Best Regards,

      Fred

Hi Fred I am from the Client Infra Stucture Team of ByD , you need to tick off the box business User. If this still does not work please open an Incident in ByD and adress it directly to me.
We will fix this together in a web session.

      Best regards

Is the old print manager still working or is there a necessity to upgrade?

      Hello Matt,

All you need is a windows 7 / 8 / 10 PC to install the setup. Further documentation is available in help once you're done with the installation.

      Thanks,

      Kapil
