SAP CAR DDF (Demand Data Foundation) Configuration with BW

The below snapshots will explain, how we can configure SAP BW - to - CAR DDF. This post will explain you how the configuration done in simple way.

BI Cubes used – ORPA_C01/02 (Only Daily & Weekly – Not monthly)

DDF – Basic Settings

•   Define logical systems (Define source BW system – HN3) 

• Define business week (see below)

DDF – Basic Setting – Integration – BI & Master data system coupling

DDF – Basic Setting – Maintain sales organization

Maintain dist channel

Maintain Distribution chain

Maintain Purchase Organization

Maintain Purchasing Group

DDF – Imported Data – Time series

•   Interface for initial data from BI to Timeseries (Activation)

Data transfer based on manual selection criteria only: This option allows you to manually retrieve time series data from BI using the /DMF/BI_IF_TS transaction.

Data transfer based on manual selection or worklist: This option allows you to transfer time series data transfer manually (using transaction /DMF/BI_IF_TS) or via a worklist.

DDF – Imported Data – Time series

•   Interface for initial data from BI to Timeseries (Profile)

Step – 1 (Profile)

Step – 2 (Mapping: Source to Destination)

Step – 3 (Field correspondence)

EXECUTION:

Run program or transaction: /DMF/BI_IF_TS

Execute and the connection will be established.
