Adobe performance issue with webdynpro

I want to share this with you all. I faced some serious perfomacnce issue to load my adobe form into my webdynpro app. It takes more than 10 min to load, and almost 5 mins to click any button into my adobe form.

I searched a lot for this, almost spent 2 days, so if you are facing the same i want you to come here and try this.

My Internet Explorer               My Adobe Reader

I’m having adove combination of tools installed.

Now What I faced is,

I developed one webdynpro component with Intrective Element,

I generated one adobe form and it’s interface form webdynpro it self.

All context bindings and other assignments are done well.

After that i created one webdynpro application and try to test the same, and i can see that it takes more that 10-15 min in loading. After this long wait i clicked on one button in adobe form, and it’s behave even worse.

Then i downgrade the the Traget Version of Acrobat and Adobe Reader from 9.1 or later to 7.0.5 or later in to the Form Properties dailog.

Just changed this,

TO THIS,

And after the little change it’s loaded in 2-3 sec.

Hope this helps.

Use the latest version of Adobe Reader. If you are using XFA forms on the Webdynpro application, there were some performance issues that were reported and fixed. The ground rule is, always use the latest version of Adobe Reader.
