This story comes from Won-Joon, MD of SAP Korea.

Won-Joon, MD of SAP Korea, has led his team and partners to collaborate for one common goal: innovate Korea through Design Thinking and HANA Platform

to make the nation Run Better.  In 2014, Won-Joon invited the SAP board members, including Hasso, Gerhard and Bernd, to Korea to meet the President Keun-hye Park. Won-Joon emphasized that SAP can help transform how the Korean government and enterprises run with the HANA platform.

He also stressed that spreading the Design Thinking methodology will revolutionize how Koreans think, and foster innovation throughout the nation. Won-Joon has endeavored to inspire Koreans to “empathize,” first starting with the SAP Korea employees, then with government, enterprises, colleges, and startups. His inspiration of the team and determination towards the vision resulted in opening of the APJ’s first AppHaus in Korea. His team has successfully persuaded different Korean government organizations and public companies to adopt SAP. His strong leadership has led SAP Korea to position as a strategic partner of digital transformation within the nation.
