My TechEd Las Vegas presentation on Identity Management

Hi Everyone,

It’s quite an honor to be asked once again to present at TechEd.  Thanks again to the team for making this possible.

So the next logical question is what will I be talking about this year. Honestly, I think we can all agree that we’ve covered implementation and upgrade approaches for SAP IDM, so now I’d like to get a little bit more into what we do with Identity Management in my discussion of How SAP IDM Increases Security and Compliance.  As always, this will be based on my various experiences in consulting with clients about how usage of SAP IDM assists with establishing general IT Security, and of course, SAP Security.

I’ll be using the session to help amplify what SAP has to say about using IDM in the Landscape and Cloud environments in other sessions with real world scenarios, examples, and lessons learned.

So is this session for you?

  • Do you have an interest in SAP IDM or SAP Security?
  • Do you have concerns about your current compliance setup
  • Would you like to make your security, compliance, and overall infrastructure work together more harmoniously?
  • Would you like to know more about any of the above?

If you’ve answered yes to one or more of these questions, please make a point of bookmarking and attending my presentation.

And don’t forget:

See you at TechEd in September!

I would like to add that this session is presented as part of the 100 hour ASUG education program at SAP TechEd Las Vegas. ASUG's Design Team volunteers, including Tammy Powlas, Kristen Dennis Kevin Comegys , Peter McNulty, and I, are very excited about this year's program. I hope you get a great turnout at your session, Matt.

Thank you very much for that information so I know who to thank for making this opportunity available to me. I hope to be able to thank all of you in person, and hope you can attend my session!
