    Hi Frank,

i watched a video SAP Rapid Data Migration – Demo  from youtube, as in video demo there are using BI as frontend to do the profiling from bods valid and invalid , and also there are using migration services tool screen, where there are mapping the same countries from source to formatted tartget, Could you confirm is the migration services tool is also to be installed in our system along with the data designer, if yes could you provide me the path to location where i can download , attaching the screenshot for reference.

    Thanks,

    Hari.

      Hi Hari,

The reports you saw for the validation (valid/invalid data) are WebI reports that can be used in case you have BI Platform. It’s simple: the download not just brings the ATL-files for Data Services but also the LCMBIAR-files for the BI Platform. Again, this content is completely free of charge. In addition, the Migration Services tool for the value maping is also part of the content and no other software is required for this free tool: it comes as a WAR-file that you just deploy on top of the Web Server that is already in use for Data Services.

Please download the content files as above from the Software Download Center (SWDC) and the documentation from the Service Marketplace (SMP). The documentation will guide you step by step through the deployment and implementation of the tools.

      Entry point could be this:

      Best regards,

      FRANK.

    Hi Frank,

We are executing the standard lookup jobs (DM_BPFDM_Lookups) as per the guide RDM_S4H_OP_DS42XV1_Quick_Guide_EN_XX.docx , then we are able to execute successfully the Job_DM_Lookups_Initialise job, and for the Second step the Job_DM_Lookups_FileToApp , it try to fill all 555 lookup tables in the job monitor and gives the error Cannot open file <C:/Migration_S4HANA/Lookup_Log/Log_Job_DM_Lookups_FileToApp_20160715023607.csv>. , as we couldnt find the file mentioned in the downloaded Rds Package, Could you please guide us to overcome the error,

    THanks,

    Hari.
