Next week from June 19th to 23rd at SAPinsider Financials in Vienna, Austria, the SAP Finance community in EMEA as well as global attendees come together. For those of you attending, make sure you start your conference off by attending The 2016 guide to SAP solutions for enterprise performance management presented by my colleague Karuna Mukherjea. Karuna will take this time to walk you through the latest and greatest solutions we have within this portfolio, explain the rebranding around BusinessObjects as well go through roadmap related items.
Another hot topic is always What’s new in SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation 10.1. David Ormerod will use this session to discuss the latest features in SAP BPC platform for Microsoft and version for SAP NetWeaver. Additionally he will cover how BPC seamlessly integrates with S/4HANA Finance as THE planning and consolidation for customers embarking on the S/4 journey looking to achieve real time insights when it comes to their Planning process.
Switching things up just slightly, we will be moving to the cloud. At SapphireNow 2016, we announced the SAP BusinessObjects Cloud platform which included planning capabilities. The SAP BusinessObjects Cloud platform includes BI, Planning and Predictive capabilities all on one SaaS based Analytics solution. This next generation platform has planning and visualization combined seamlessly in one solution, as well as integration with SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation as will be covered by Damien Fribourg during his Live demo: Leveraging SAP BusinessObjects Cloud for planning with your existing on-premise deploymen.... Additionally for those of you who are looking for a more comprehensive demo of the entire solution focusing on planning, please attend the full demo session he’ll be conducting.
Thorsten Jopp will deliver the session I think will be most invaluable. Thorsten will be covering Real-time planning in SAP S/4HANA Finance with SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation. It’s absolutely ground-breaking technology and presents a huge opportunity for Finance Transformation, as the office of the CFO is able to access actuals data instantly and then perform Actuals to Plan comparisons at any point in time and provide true insights to their business constituents.
