AppHaus Palo Alto Officially Opens Its Doors
We built it and they came.
Wednesday marked the first time the outside world was invited to experience SAP’s new AppHaus Palo Alto: a space imbued with creativity, innovation and collaboration down to the finest detail. Now, with the completion of this new space, the Design and Co-Innovation Center (DCC) has three inspiring AppHaus locations – one in Heidelberg, Germany and one in Pangyo, Korea – to serve as, to put it in DCC North America Head Janaki Kumar’s words, “tree houses of creativity” where SAP designers can meet and collaborate with clients and the broader design and innovation community.
Not only was Wednesday’s event the first for the new AppHaus, it was the first time that SAP has participated in SF Design Week. Two milestones in one beautiful, crescent-mooned night.
Next week Tuesday (June 14) will be the official “Exclusive Opening” of the space, followed by a campus-wide event the following night, Wednesday, June 15 (following HIVE).
Below, enjoy some images from the night and be assured: there will be more pictures and videos of the space to come!
