Having resided in the lovely mediterranean city of Nice for the last few years, the SAPinsider conference has moved to a new location for 2016. SAPinsider will open its doors in the Austrian capital, Vienna in a few weeks’ time.
When I heard that SAPinsider was moving to Vienna I thought immediately of two things. First that Vienna is a city renowned as a centre of cultural heritage, boasting a rich history of classical music and the arts. Second, a throwback to my own childhood in the utterance of just two words from a wonderful Ultravox song, one of my favourites from that time “Oh Vienna”! So, for me SAPinsider Vienna is already off to a great start…and it hasn’t even begun yet!
As usual I’ve been involved in planning for the SAPinsider Financials conference. The pre-conference workshops start on Sunday 19th June, with the main conference held June 20th-22nd. But this year as well as Financials, my interests also reside with the SAPinsider GRC conference. Which is co-located with Financials and other events, at the Austria Centre.
For visitors to the SAPinsider conference this year, here are three “must do” items to put into your conference Agenda-Builder session planner:
- Keynotes and Spotlights – make sure that you take the time to join the main conference keynote, and the Financials and GRC spotlight sessions. I’m particularly excited about the GRC spotlight this year as I’m involved in planning part of the content. So come and hear our latest product news!
- Customer sessions – there will be an opportunity to hear many SAP customers share their experiences of using SAP software. These include Exxaro, Roche Diabetes Care, ArecelorMittal, Unilever and DEWA to name just a few
- Solution Centre for Financials/EPM and GRC – another activity in which I’ve had direct involvement during planning for the event. This is a chance for conference attendees to have detailed one-on-one sessions with the SAP solution experts. Don’t miss this opportunity to ask any and all questions – challenge the team for a response!
And of course, there are still many more conference sessions, live demos and panel discussions available. Also take the opportunity to meet with exhibitors and SAP teams in the exhibition area or at one of the networking events.
