SAP CodeJams are going strong in Wrocław and are not showing any signs of slowing down:

  • We opened this year with the very first SAP CodeJam in 2016 globally, when Sven Kohlhaas and Vladimir Pavlov did SAP HANA Cloud Platform one.
  • Then I did an introduction to IoT Services of SAP HCP in the exclusive edition of SAP CodeJam for consultants in the local office of one of global SAP Partners.
  • Last month Craig Cmehil included Wrocław into his European tour to share exciting new coding capabilities of SAP HANA SPS11 based on the new XS Advanced.
  • …and next week we are going to have a local meeting to discuss plans for the next SAP CodeJam event here 🙂

But for now let us get back to events from last month. Needless to say the SAP CodeJam on HANA XSA topic was sold out in a week, even though we increased the room capacity twice. Although most of the participants were local, some had to travel from as far as Lublin on the other side of the country. And Vladimirs Semikins even traveled from Riga to participate in both – the SAP CodeJam and SAP Inside Track the following day.

There are four components of the ideal SAP CodeJam: knowledge, community, food and fun – and we had’em all, including some burgers and beers exploration till the midnight after the event. Just to wake up on time for the SAP Inside Track #sitWRO the following day 🙂

Check out pictures, and you’ll see we had all of those.

For me personally it was the first time as well to try XSA. It is an important direction and a lot to learn. Now I need just to find some more time to practice it.

And if you are interested in organizing your own SAP CodeJam – it is super easy. Just check how to do Hosting an SAP CodeJam Event
