Attendees will walk thru detailed example project plans, validating prerequisites using the SAP Service Marketplace, verifying ERP add-on and third-party compatibility. This session will cover the use of Solution Manager 7.1 (& 7.2) to aid the estimation of effort required for development and test cycle execution. Attendees will • Understand the SAP Rapid Deployment Solution for Suite on HANA Migrations • Come away with real-world project charters, project, communication, risk, and cutover plans for a Suite on HANA migration. • See how Solution Manager can estimate the impacted objects and determine the correct test cycle scope for your organizations risk tolerance • Talk about release planning and determining target product versions |
10:50am – 11:30am | Luis Zelaya | Demo | HANA / UI5 | Integrating HANA with the Fiori Launchpad |
HANA provides us with a very fast way of manipulating data, unfortunately, it is not very friendly in terms of data analysis. While it provides many tools, such as frequency analysis and charting, when business scenarios increase in complexity, such in-HANA analysis become inefficient. Often times, is better to leverage the HANA environment with other front end consumption tools that end users might be more familiar with. In this demo, I will focus on integrating HANA with another SAP Platform: Fiori. Fiori provides a web-based application feel to the data analysis done on the HANA side. By combining the Fiori launchpad with the power of HANA, users are able to get the best users experiences SAP has to offer. As part of the SAP family, these two platforms intertwine veryeasily and provide a very easy-to-follow integrating experience for developers as you will see in this demonstration. |
12:50pm – 1:30pm | Martin Beringer & Katherine Ganjani | Demo | UI5 | Improve UI5 development using Neptune | Develop a basic application using Neptune Application Designer, and publish as web app, and mobile apps using Neptune Application Management. |
1:40pm – 2:20pm | Ray Isada | Lecture | SAP Support | Effectively work with Product Support | Are you concerned about your experience with the frontlines of support? Do you feel like you do not know where to look for help outside of logging a ticket? Great? This session will help you understand what Product Support is doing to fundamentally change the way we work to support you. We would like to share the initiatives we are working on and have planned for our transformation. We will also share some practical tips about how to maximize your interactions to achieve your business objectives. |
2:40pm – 3:20pm | TBA |
