Time recording is often perceived as an important, but quite cumbersome duty. Employees who are working on tasks at different locations, query why there shouldn`t be a way to collect the corresponding time sheet recordings automatically via mobile devices.
At Sapphire 2016 we presented a showcase where such a time recording is provided in a very convenient manner:
New tasks can be assigned to certain locations, e.g. the address of a customer, partner, office, event location, room etc. Just a one-time assignment is necessary; either via address data in the system or directly e.g. via GPS, Wi-Fi, Beacon identifier.
Mobile phones can now detect how long their users are present at the corresponding locations.
In this way our mobile concept application generates the proposals for time recording.
The user only needs to click “confirm” to get his recording done. Of course there is also an option to fine tune the recording before confirmation, if desired.
