In this blog, we'd like to introduce you to one of the things that are new or have been changed in the May 2016 version of SAP Business ByDesign.
Of course, you can find more information in the What's New in SAP Business ByDesign documentation, which is available online.
Today, we are going to talk about the enhancements in the Manager Approvals App. They are:
Grouping Level in Time Recordings
There is a new grouping level in the Time Recordings category. You can now group by:
Employee
Project for project based time confirmations/Cost Center for HR activity based time confirmation
Project Task for project based time confirmations/ Time Type for HR activity based time confirmation
Approval Requests
You can now approve requests for the following categories in the app:
Leave Requests
Goods and Services Receipts
Purchasing Contract
Business Configuration Changes
You can now deactivate an SAP delivered approval category if you don’t want the category to appear for approval processes in the app.
To find this activity, go to the Business Configuration work center and choose the Implementation Projects view. Select your implementation project and click Open Activity List. Go to Fine-Tune phase, then select Deactivation of Approval Categories for Manager Approvals App from the activity list. In the new screen deselect the approval category that you want to switch off.
