INDUS Conclave, 2016 @ The Leela Ambience- Gurgaon | 10-May-2016

INDUS conferences are events that enable networking and connect amongst vast Indian industries and companies. The event provides an opportunity for all levels of industry players, from novice to market leaders.

The event covered all trending topics in the current market and was designed to encourage participants to get involved in learning new offerings from SAP and get insights on best practices from the market pioneers. Event was a right blend of knowledge share and networking.

As seen in the agenda, the event began with a welcome note from Mr. Manish Choksi, Chairman – INDUS board. He started by thanking 1100 members of INDUS and also congratulated all for making it to the third biggest forum across world followed by DSUG and ASUG. His introduction focused on how INDUS has been instrumental in contributing in various initiatives like market leaders experience sharing via lectures, awareness or headway programs via road-map webinars and demo pods.

Mr. Manish emphasized on the need for influencing and voicing the ideas via influence initiatives to improve and shape SAP products more towards business needs and requirements. He also touch-based on how a customer could play a vital role by connecting and involving in these discussions.

He continued his welcome note by talking more about the administration changes and INDUS’s plans to become more self-sufficient. This can achieved by charging a nominal fee for the participants. He listed different options by which participants could continue their strong association via various INDUS membership plans.

The addressing was concluded by inviting all the INDUS board members on the stage.

Mr. Prakash Kumar, CEO of Goods and Services Tax Network(GSTN) took-stage and  delivered a brief lecture on the common taxation scenarios faced currently and the upcoming taxation automation and pathway. Mr. Prakash was followed by Debdeep Sengupta, MD, SAP India and later  was followed by discussions from Fujitsu.

During the afternoon session, there were lecture tracks being held in two rooms. Here, the customers shared their experience on recent implementations and product usability. The discussion was filled with enthusiastic participants. The sessions concluded with productive Q&A.

The event continued with a networking break followed by Ace Awards ceremony. The event was truly a wonderful experience to learn the customer view points and recommendations. The demo-pods provided a wide variety to partner’s pitch-in and SAP’s foot prints in various digitization sectors. The event provided a platform for good networking and to exchange business cards for later connects.
