In March 2016, we have launched the 2016 program of the SAP Enterprise Support Advisory Council. I shared some highlights with you in a previous blog post named SAP Enterprise Support Advisory Council – 2016 Kickoff. Today I want to provide you with a brief update on the program, live from SAPPHIRE NOW in Florida.


I’m excited to be here in Orlando because I will be able to meet with customers that are interested in joining the Council as well as with SAP colleagues who are contributing to some of the program’s focus topics. I’m especially looking forward to learning more about the customers’ projects, ideas and objectives and what they hope to achieve with the help of the Council.


The SAP Enterprise Support Advisory Council is focused on co-innovating with selected customers globally. Participating customers will get access to a very exclusive circle enabling them to become early adopters of the latest support innovations. Its members also profit from a bigger investment from SAP’s side (e.g. experts on-site) and by directly influencing SAP’s offering in a meaningful way based on their own requirements.


Our key touch point will be trough SAP Jam, SAP’s social business collaboration platform. More specifically, we will leverage existing SAP Enterprise Support Value Maps including underlying restricted subgroup areas that are exclusively accessible to our customers from the SAP Enterprise Support Advisory Council. Within these SAP Jam subgroups participants are able to discuss and share ideas with SAP experts and other customers.


First customers have joined and are already collaborating with SAP within one of the following innovation areas:


  • SAP Cloud Solutions
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP Fiori powered by SAP HANA Cloud Platform
  • Value for Business Decision Makers
