SAP Big Data Hackathon was organized by SAP Slovakia and partners TNS Slovakia (Research on online users’ behaviour) and Profesia.Sk (Career portal) in a three-day competition start of April.
The data set provided by the two partners were mined with an SAP HANA platform by over 40 young IT professionals to find patterns in online purchasing behavior regarding discriminating parameters such as gender, age and location.
The results and findings were a huge success and the partners were impressed by the quick interpretation of hundred millions of data records by SAP HANA and the smart participants.
These kinds of events show how important it is to make companies as well as Next-Gen aware of what SAP technology can move and that University Alliances needs to focus on young talents who become young professionals to benefit from the remarkable professional development imminent in educational institutions in current practice.
From a local perspective, this of course is an essential key to new talents. Against the background of SAP LABS Slovakia being built in Bratislava and led by Jan Ruzarovsky (Head of SME R&D Slovakia), young talents are extraordinarily sought after. Therefore, University Alliances country manager of CEE, Baltics & Nordics Ádám Dudits here again tries to support and raise synergies with SAP Slovakia to seek for and attract Next-Gen.
Thanks to all colleagues who work with us and provide their support in joint effort!
