Beyond the Booth: SAP Digital Makes a Splash at SAPPHIRE NOW

What else is SAP Digital doing at SAPPHIRE NOW – besides all the action at our booth that I wrote about in my blog last week? A lot.

First, let me tell you that our solutions are featured in demo pods at other locations at SAPPHIRE NOW besides the SAP Digital booth, including the Customer Campus, Retail Campus, Analytics (SAP Lumira), and Platform Areas. People can check out SAP Lumira for data visualization, the TripIt Pro travel app, the SAP Digital CRM cloud-based sales solution, and SAP HANA Cloud Platform that enables developers to easily extend applications. Anyone who wants to make a purchase of an offering from SAP Digital can walk over to our booth and download it with the swipe of a credit card. It’s the first time ever that it will be possible to buy and use SAP offerings instantly at SAPPHIRE NOW. We will accept credit card payments for our solutions live on the show floor at the SAP Digital booth, making it as easy as buying a soda at the supermarket. So cool! Of course, all these offerings are available for online purchase at with a simple, seamless click-through buying process.

SAP Digital is also well represented at the conference with roundtable discussions and theater presentations taking place over the three days of the conference. Here’s a taste of the topics:

  • Make Better-Informed Decisions with Location-Specific Consumer Intelligence – Suresh Ramakrishnan discusses key questions SMEs should consider for marketing to their target audience with SAP Digital Consumer Insight – the newest innovation from SAP Digital

  • Click, Purchase and Run Partner Solutions Through Our Online Store – Madhur Aggarwal of SAP Digital, together with partners John Krech of ePhiphony, Christian Cuske of In Mind Computing, and Simon Bain, SearchYourCloud, will participate in an interactive partner session. They’ll discuss how the SAP Store simplifies the way customers can evaluate and buy SAP and partner solutions. The partners will go into more depth on how their solutions can help businesses run simpler.

  • Run Live Right Now with SAP Digital’s Products – Robert Rabe explains how small and midsize enterprises (SMEs) can successfully join the digital economy with digital software, content, and extensions.

On May 16, SAP Digital also participated at the Global Partner Summit being held at the Hilton Hotel in Orlando. Members of our team were recruiting partners and telling them about how they can sell their products worldwide instantaneously on SAP Store without a big investment in marketing.

We’ll also have extensive analytics reporting as part of our presence at SAPPHIRE NOW. We can count the visitors to our area thanks to the heat map solution, scan leads at our booth, and follow up with them via email. And we allow attendees to opt in to our text messaging notification service.

SAPPHIRE NOW is a really spectacular event, and I am so proud of the SAP Digital team for playing such a big part in it.
