The wait is finally over. It’s only a matter of hours until the Orange County Convention Center is teeming with SAP customers, partners and enthusiasts at 2016 ASUG Annual Conference. Before you go, here is one more update on what is going on in ASUG’s HR Community and what you should look out for at ASUG Annual Conference.
Recharge HR – Stretch Your Talent Mindset: This session is one of the biggest highlights of Annual Conference for anyone in the HR field. As all industries (not just IT) evolve, so must HR. Companies must do away with the “Well, that’s how it’s always been done” response and activate the talent management reset button. Attending will not only give you a fresh perspective on how you run your HR organization, but will also make you eligible for SHRM Professional Development Credits. Registration has been filled, but walk-ups are welcome if seating allows. This is a free seminar, thanks to our friends at Deloitte and hyperCision!
SAP® SuccessFactors® 101 – Hands-On Exploration: We still have space in this all-day hands-on session for anyone who uses HR solutions. You will see how SAP SuccessFactors integrates with your existing technology and learn which functionalities can transform your HR organization. Prime your mind for all the education during ASUG Annual Conference at this ASUG Pre-Conference Seminar. Register now!
Perspectives on People-Potential to Increase Competitive Advantage: This session at the ASUG Hub takes a look at what really drives your business forward. No, it’s not technology: It’s people. Who are the right people? How can you build their skills? Where do they come from? How can ASUG help? These questions and more will be explored during this in-depth panel discussion lead by Sherryanne Meyer, ASUG’s HR Community Advocate.
ASUG Young Professional Program Meetup: ASUG’s newest program is starting out with a bang at ASUG Annual Conference. All young professionals should come to the ASUG Hub on Wednesday, May 18 to kick-off the Young Professional Program. Meet people in similar stages of their careers, ask questions to those who have been in your shoes, and share your experiences to benefit the ASUG community. Encourage the young talent in your organization to check out this new community and meetup.
A shorter post this week as I finish up preparations for the excitement ahead. For those of you who are HR community regulars, please stop by the ASUG hub and introduce yourselves! It’s always nice to put faces to names and meet the people who truly drive this community forward.
