Dear SAP community,

On March 1st I shared that Gali Kling Schneider is taking over as the interim lead of my Community Experience team, following Jeanne Carbonis transfer to another team within SAP. It is my pleasure to announce that the interim position has turned into a permanent role where Gali will lead the team, helping the SAP community reach the next level of prosperity and value for everyone involved. Gali has been part of the SAP community for many years, she is a respected leader, member and supporter of this amazing network of professionals in the SAP ecosystem. She has the connections, experience and passion for this area of our business to ensure we build on what has made the SAP community so successful in a past, as well as a strong vision for where it can go in the future.

I´m also happy to announce that Jerry Janda is joining Galis Community Experience team, effective immediately. Jerry is a very experienced communications professional, creative writer, blogger, editor, screenwriter, podcaster, and filmmaker. He has been with SAP for 14 years in multiple roles touching different parts of the SAP ecosystem. Based out of NSQ he´ll lead communication and engagement activities for and with all of you.

Both these appointments as well as the continuity of the 1DX project reflect the investment we want to make in the SAP community in a year where we are moving to a new online home together. As I shared in a recent blog, I truly believe that community is the next competitive battleground in a networked, digital economy. Ecosystems with strong communities are more successful and more rewarding to be part of for businesses and individuals. And I´m sure you´ll agree with me when I say that the SAP community is the best of the best!

Please join me in welcoming and congratulating Gali and Jerry on their new roles!

Best

Malin
