Search by note number redirects to ONE Launchpad: workaround

Hello everybody,

This is not a rant. Not resistance to changes. Simply cold fact about old useful search with New ONE Launchpad and my trick to simply do what I need.

So here is the problem -Simple search by note number redirects to ONE Launchpad.

When we input a note number in dedicated box and click display note button,

the note opens in launchpad.support.sap.com. It prevents me from exporting note to PDF because launchpad “download to PDF functionality” is not working properly (yet). The pictures are missing and texts are truncated. See http://scn.sap.com/thread/3897044 if you want to know more.

Workaround till this gets fixed: Take full note description, go back to http://support.sap.com/notes and launch SAP note and KBA search again with “description” and Phrase mode as shown below.

Hope that list you get is short. Click on the note to get old & good view.
