We are extremely excited to share with you the summary of the recently concluded SAP Next-Gen Hackathon together with Syntel at a top UA member institute called College of Engineering, Pune on 9 April 2015. This hackathon saw 38 students and 6 employees from Syntel working together on challenges (business scenarios) brought in by Syntel. The students wore cool SAP Next-Gen Consulting T-shirts co-branded with Syntel and they worked on SAP HANA Cloud Platform. In total 9 employees from Syntel were present at this Hackathon. Many of the students who participated in the hackathon were from the batch pursuing the course PGD-ERP wherein they learn industry relevant concepts via the program put in place by SAP Education. Syntel is an SAP Services Partner, helping clients design, implement and integrate solutions for SAP products, as well as optimize business processes and provide strategic business consultation. The students were divided into 6 teams where 6 experts from Syntel were put in so that they could together tackle the following challenge questions posted by Syntel. .
