You’re among the first to test this latest client and you’re excited, your heart racing like you had six cups or so. So you login with your SAP GUI, you want to see some familiar faces before jumping into Fiori. You run your favorite tcode, not sure if you’re happy or dissappointed that there is barely changes to it. Then you start SPRO, and make a search for some config. HANA should be super fast right? Oh its still taking forever because the index is not run yet. Easy peasy, run the index, it should finish in 5 minutes. One day later its still running or the job auto cancelled. So you talk to your basis guy and he does his things. Two days later, you still can’t run the index.
