April 22nd to 23rd, SAP Finland, the SAP Finnish User Group (FINUG) and SAP University Alliances Nordics set up SAPSyke HANA Cloud Platform Hackathon in Tampere, Finland.
The extraordinary event in which over 110 students participated and showed their innovative ideas, was a huge success together with 23 partners such as Fujitsu, the Finnish Posti Group (parcel and logistic services), and Apetit Ruoka Oy (Food Solutions, Grain Trade, Oilseed Products, Seafood).
The amazing competition saw a tremendous amount of original ideas and smart process models as a basis for apps to pave the way into Digital Transformation.
After two exciting days full of brainstorming and teamwork, the happy winners were announced, receiving a €2,000 money award. Of course, after such good and hard work, all teams competing were winners.
For Ádám Dudits (UA country manager CEE, Baltics & Nordics), this was a splendid start for his roadshow through the Baltic countries in the following week, where he and Stefan Weidner (Managing director, University Competence Center Magdeburg) had organized workshops with strong support and cooperation from our local SAP colleagues with numerous renowned universities to evangelize the target region and promote what our SAP University Alliance program is aiming at: To get the best talents among Next-Gen to be cutting edge in all challenges Digital Transformation poses.
Thanks to Kari Pietilainen (Senior Pre-Sales Specialist, SAP Finland) and all partners for this memorable event! Let’s keep on doing what we all believe in: High-end solutions by teamwork!
