With SAP’s clear strategy on increasing numbers for women working in SAP as well as women in a SAP management position, one of the many ways to support this is the employee-driven Business Women’s Network (BWN).

The BWN is to help women advance their careers and the company’s business. By sharing professional insights, best practices, education and experience, members help one another develop skills and career advancing opportunities to drive SAP’s success.

The Irish chapter has been steadily growing since 2011 and while the majority are female members, male colleagues who believe and support the goals have also joined the network.

Locally, we have organized several insightful workshops, motivational (external) speakers and networking events. While a book club has also been established recently, events and topics can be adapted to suit any relevant, in-demand topic such as career development, working mothers and professional networking.

With a multicultural and diverse workforce within SAP Ireland, virtual events both from within and outside of SAP are also on the agenda.
