A special room for robo activities was opened in Sofia High School of Mathematics. The Robotics Lab was constructed and designed with the support of SAP. This is yet another initiative in Bulgaria, which aims to stimulate students' interest in science and technology activities through robotics and LEGO Robotics.
Sofia High School of Mathematics is one of the best high schools in Bulgaria. Students for the 2015/2016 school year were accepted with the highest grades in comparison with every other high school in the country. "Classes with LEGO robots helps children from an early age, even from 10 years old, to enter the vast field of technology. Robotics helps them develop different skills as programming, design of robots and teamwork", said Radoslav Nikolov, Managing Director of SAP Labs Bulgaria. At the official opening of the Robotics Lab he welcomed students who are members of clubs in robotics in the high school and interested students, teachers and parents. He emphasized on the long-term commitment of our company to support the development of robotics in Bulgaria. A few years ago, SAP has donated Lego sets to Sofia High School for Mathematics, and for an year we have a program "Robotics for Bulgaria". Nearly 20 schools participate in it and have already received LEGO sets and formed LEGO Robotics teams.
