SAP Chief Customer Office TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) Program Overview:
You always hear that it costs an arm & a leg to run SAP & CIOs are asked to do more with less money.
TCO program is designed to help with it. The Program is focused on helping customers get more value out of their current SAP footprint, Optimize their solution, share best practices, end user feedback and eliminate customizations so that customers can go back to standard.
Also where do customers stand with their peer group on cost of running SAP and how can they be best in the class. The TCO includes a deep dive into two business processes of customer’s choice where customer has most challenges or wants a best practices review. Getting customers best ROI (Return on their SAP investment) is a key goal.
Business Process Optimization Assessment is similar to the TCO Assessment where we do up to Five Business Processes (Or LoB specfic processes like Finance for CFO, HR for CHRO, Procurement for CPO, Supply Chain for Head of Supply Chain etc.)
Both programs are at no cost to the customers but CIO / LoB Exec Alignment is required.
Methodology, Scope & Sample Deliverables are as follows.
• Assessment is delivered by a team of highly trained 9-10 Platinum level experts who are part of Chief Customer Office. These sessions are delivered in parallel to optimize customer’s schedule and participation time.
• Final report will show how customer can reduce X % of IT OPEX cost or bring in Business Process related savings by automation and increasing efficiency. These could be cost savings in several hundred thousand/million dollars based on customer’s size & complexity.
