Note 2034254 released for issue ” Not able to select any value in Claim & reimbursement application in ESS”

Hi all,

As so many users are struggling with the issue that they were not able to select any value in claim & reimbursement application in ESS in india payroll.

Now SAP has already been released a NOTE 2034254 on 11.04.2016

If you are not getting any value in dropdown option of reimbursement type then follow the below steps as instructed by SAP_


1. Maintain entries in the table V_T7INA9 for the corresponding Allowance Grouping table with RAP indicator as ‘Reimbursement’ as shown below

2. Maintain entries in the table V_T7INT9 for the corresponding Allowance Grouping table with Tax Code assigned

3. A record should be present in Infotype 0589 for the corresponding wage type (For Example, Wagetype M211 can be used for Medical Reimbursement) in PA30 transaction.

4. Run report HINCREMS for the employee with blank Reimbursement Type in selection screen and the result should show that employee is eligible for reimbursement type.



NOTE: You must refer SAP Note No. 2303546 – Cannot see Reimbursement Type in the dropdown for Payroll India ESS Reimbursement Module – Claims / Advances – Employee Application, for more details about this step.
