In 2014, 14.000 signed up to learn about how to implement a sustainability strategy on the OpenSAP course “Sustainability and Business Innovation”.

Now it´s time to take the next step: Over the past two years significant technology trends have emerged. At the same time world leaders ratified the new 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ageed to limit climate change to significantly less than 2 Celsius in the Paris agreement, COP21.

These two mayor events in 2015 brought sustainability back to the center stage.

The new online course “Sustainability through Digital Transformation” explores how companies can and partly are already embracing the opportunities arising.

It shows how IT and Digital technologies help them create positive economic, social and enviromental impact while addressing global sustainability trends.

In this course, you will learn about the evolution of sustainability within organizations in the areas of integrated reporting, social and enviromental impact creation and responsible investment. You will familiarize with new frameworks including the SDGs and gain an understanding on how digitization can enable companies to become more succesful while contributing to achieve the SDGs.

The key dates are:
