By Fred Isbell, Senior Director and Head of Though Leadership, SAP Service & Support Marketing

About a year ago, I published the first new thought-leadership piece for our then-new SAP Service & Support thought leadership program. Over the course of 80 blogs, I discussed a variety “ah-ha” moments and epiphanies throughout 2015. The best part of this job is focusing on interesting, groundbreaking areas; writing something quickly; receiving feedback; and generating new ideas for the next project.

Along the way, we hosted a thought leadership Webcast last November, which focused on best practices for simplifying learning and the future of learning in the cloud. Not only did this give us an opportunity to gain new perspectives from subject-matter experts, but we also created an on-demand Webcast replay. Feedback was good, and we opted to do more in 2016.

As the old classic Peter Cetera song “After All” goes, “well here we are again.” A year later, we’re all buzzing about digital transformation. I just attended the annual IDC Directions Event in Boston, and this whole notion of transformation was the topic of the hour, day, month and year. Needless to say, digital transformation is here to stay.

To help companies achieve their digital-transformation vision, we’re launching a new series of three thought leadership Webcasts:

Transforming Digital Visions into Reality

11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. EDT

Get the latest scoop on digital transformation, cloud computing, the Internet of Things (IoT) (which was the major “buzzword” of IDC Directions), and more.

Innovation @ Cloud Speed: The Journey to the Cloud and Digital Business
Thursday, April 21, 2016
11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. EDT

Discover best practices that can prepare your people and business processes for digital transformation.

The Future of Support in an Era of Cloud and the Internet of Things
Thursday, June 9, 2016
11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. EDT

Build a portfolio of solutions that address new challenges and expectations. Explore the importance of the “journey” and, ultimately, learn how to create a road map for the future.

I’m thrilled to host and moderate these three Webcast events, and I encourage everyone to register and join us live or watch the on-demand replays.

Visit our Webcast site for more information about the events and our great speaker lineup. We’ll share our findings and “ah-ha” moments throughout this Spring.

Until then, check out “From Hype To Reality To Ubiquity: A Digitalist Executive Q&A On The Internet Of Things” to explore some of the hottest digital topics!
