With the growing customer base for the Business ByDesign, Many new customer / users using ByDesign systems would like to understand the product, business process areas, functionality etc. in details. As you all may know there is a comprehensive knowledge base that is documented for the SAP Business By-Design.
Help Center document : Learning and Help Center Quick Guide
Accessing help center provides Context-Sensitive Help Content which means you can access the Help Center from every screen in the system. The documentation and training material is content-specific and supports you as you work with the system and carry out your daily tasks.
For each work center view, a quick guide provides overview and business background information as well as a list of tasks. Complex tasks are described in a separate document and linked to the quick guide
However many of us are not aware that we could access the whole product documentation from the ByDesign system itself.
For this :
1) Login to Business ByDesign System
2) Click on Help center
3) Search for "SAP Business ByDesign Books" and Open the document
You will find the hyperlinks for each sections.
For example : Under Business areas you will find Link for Financial and Management accounting
4) Click on this link
And there you have it. Handbook.. :shock:
This will contain all the help center document available in the system related to the topic.
You can also access this "SAP Business ByDesign Books" from the Business center.
Path : Business center -> SAP Business ByDesign -> Section : Learn -> Click On Library -> Under User resources -> Click on the Comprehensive Solution Help: Print Version.
