The Delaware Executive Exchange Program was a phenomenal experience for the students of the College of Business. DEEP Day was put in place by Dean Covington to develop business professionals and cultivate student success. The entire day was filled with a series of panel discussions, resume reviews and mock interviews, to help students improve themselves professionally for their future. Jewell Parkinson, Head of HR for SAP NA, was the keynote speaker for DEEP Day. Mrs. Parkinson did an outstanding job being transparent during her speech, as she elaborated on the trails and tribulations she overcame during her life and still managed to stay focused and use it as fuel to her success. The students of STOMPP represented Delaware State University well during the Business Case Competition provided by WSFS Bank. They were able to use their transferable skills they learned during the Design Thinking Workshops provided by SAP and Project Propel. Executives from all over the Delaware and Pennsylvania area came to educate the College of Business students in professionalism, how to conduct interviews properly and tips on the correct way to format a resume, in order to land the perfect career after graduation.
