http://sitbru2016.eventbrite.com

Speaker Session type* Title Description Slides
Tom Van Doorslaer Demo/Lecture A different view on input and output.

Gestures, robotics, sensors, mobility and a little bit of UI5.

Explaining the LeapFiori module for gesture based Fiori Control.

(can potentially be used to remote control an HANA Car)

Wouter Lemaire

Jeremy Coppey

Demo HANA Car v1.02

Google, Apple, Tesla, they are all developing and testing automatic driving cars.

Their flaw: the data is stored in the car, talks only car to car when in visual sight, …

We present to you the “Hana Car”

This car drives automatic, detects hazards, car to server communication, brings you at your destination and that all powered by HANA.

The IOT webservice is the perfect channel to make all this happen!

Tom Cenens Demo Automated regression testing with CBTA (SAP Solution Manager) SAP offers CBTA (component based test automation) capabilities, for free, for Enterprise Support based (or higher) support contract customer. This is not a well known offering at customer side so I would like to create awareness that this exists within SAP Solution Manager (demo) and provide thoughts on the scenario (pro / con)
Christian Drumm Demo / Lecture Bring your own language on HCP

SAP recently announced the availability of Cloud Foundry services as beta on SAP HANA Cloud Platform. In this session I’ll show how easy it is to deploy applications written in the programming language of your choice on HCP using the Cloud Foundry tools.

Bring your own language on SAP HCP
Vitaliy Rudnytskiy Lecture I can do “Intro into SAP HANA Vora” or regular “SAP Developer Center Update” or both TBC – as I need to confirm if I can come

Bruno Mommens

Annelies Van der Borght

Demo Sparkling HCP IoT demo on 5 industry processes IoT applied on 5 industry processes: smart access control, smart manufacturing, warehousing, transport and asset tracking.
Arnaut Kamhoot & Wim Snoep IoT mini Codejam Using the particle device, we will connect to HCP IoT Services and work with all kinds of sensors

Something else, not a presentation, but an handson. During this 2hours mini codejam, we will connect to HANA Cloud Platform IoT services. Using the particle device.

We bring a lot of devices and box of stuff (like NFC/ displays and sensors). After some theory, we will build an end to end working scenario. Train you in some practical experience using SAP HCP IoT services. We will show you reading data but also sending data to the device by using the particle.

Please bring your own laptop  (BYOL)

Note: due to the amount of particle devices and have the option for everyone to get assistance in this workshop like fashion, we have to limit the group to let’s say 14 persons.

We composed a blog post regarding the whole set of exercises:

Basic IoT scenario using HCP and Particles and UI5 – the explanation

Iver van de Zand Demo How to monitor the real-time heartbeat of the public transport sector with analytics Based on real railway data, I will show what we can do with SAP Business Analytics measuring real-tile insights on train delay performance and railway-infrastructure incidents

*Demo, Lesson Learned, Tips and Tricks… By all means, no marketing or sales pitches.

Do you plan to have the CodeJam the day before? I can do traditionally HCP IoT or Lumira.

Ok, in the meantime another CodeJam request came from Lviv for the same dates, and I am going there.

We can do one of those CodeJams in Bru independently of SIT, when you decide.

      Have fun at sitBRU!
