On March 10th, once again, University Alliances took the opportunity to get in touch with Next-Gen on d-kom 2016 Budapest in Hungary.

In Millenáris Congress Center in a district of Buda, around 25 speakers gave insight into latest SAP technologies, products and topics.

Ádám Dudits (UA country manager of CEE, Baltics and Nordics) welcomed 20 students together with 5 lecturers from Óbuda University, as well as over 30 students from secondary schools in Budapest. Next-Gen had a look at future trends and technologies and talk with professionals to get a better understanding of the market.

Markus Hilken’s (MD Labs Hungary) and Nicholas Magyar-Zimmerman’s (P&I Development) opening with a creative brain-train exercise was a refreshening introduction to cutting-edge topics during the day. Keynotes speeches by Adam Kovalevsky (P&I Development) on the key learnings regarding Design.Code.Deliver. demonstrated at the example of cloud applications at SuccessFactors and Oliver Beck’s (VP P&I Development) view on cloud environment and the role which development & operations need to fulfill in our future business environment.

Among the booth sessions, one of the highlights was a hands-on session with Máté Bartalos (Head of Vocational Training Hungary) based on the latest breaking news regarding artificial intelligence which was able to beat the world’s best human player in GO.

The event was a big success, and an interactive setting, where around 300 SAP participants busily discussed ideas and brainstormed over topics presented in the various stage presentations and booth sessions.

In the evening, d-kom sessions were was followed by a comfortable get together where speakers and the audience had the chance to mingle and get together to continue discussions from the fruitful exchange during the whole day. 

d-kom Budapest was yet another great opportunity for University Alliances to spread awareness among Next-Gen to get them on board of SAP!
