SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.2 Release – Launching what’s new videos
Dear Community,
We are very happy to share with you this update on What’s new in BI 4.2 videos produced by our BI User Assistance Team (formerly known as Knowledge Management Team). This is a new initiative done for the first time in BusinessObjects product release history.
Yes, we often hear that ‘A picture speaks more than a thousand words’ and a video can only mean more, right? To enhance customers’ learning experience, we decided to deliver documentation through a new channel i.e. through videos. The User Assistance team has created new feature how-to demo videos for BI 4.2 release. These videos explain the concept and demonstrate how users can easily learn new features to meet specific BI requirements.
We strongly believe that this method will certainly help our BI users consume documentation better. All these videos are hosted on SAP’s YouTube channel and referenced in the What’s New guide as well. Our plan is to continue this initiative for our future releases as well.
These videos are already made LIVE on YouTube and are made as playlist in SAP Analytics channel. Customers looking for BI 4.2 features will get these videos in a single playlist @ YouTube

Thanks to the BI User Assistance Team for putting these together. I don't see videos as a replacement for written documentation, but they are a great way to present upcoming changes to our business user community. This is a good value-add.
