ANST: Download and Upload Traces Across Systems

Automated Note Search Tool (ANST) provides efficient and convenient way to carry out a Note search for a specific issue. ANST search works based on issue replication. Most organizations allow restricted authorizations in their production environment, For example, the personnel responsible for technical support or troubleshooting may not have the relevant authorizations in the production environment. Another important use case is the authorizations for implementation of Notes restricted to the test environment.

Note search in ANST is based on the trace generated while replicating the scenario. We now offer a possibility to download and upload generated traces across systems. Using this feature, you can generate and download the trace from a production system. This downloaded trace can be uploaded onto the Test system using ANST, and can be used for Note search or other troubleshooting activities.

Once you have replicated the issue, you can download and save the trace to your local directory.
